Funding & Affordability

We know childcare is a significant investment for families, and we want to be transparent about the funding landscape so you can plan for your child's early education.

As of April 2025, Alberta shifted away from income-based subsidies for preschool programs. In their place, the province now offers the Affordability Grant — funding provided directly to eligible, licensed preschool programs to help reduce the fees charged to families.

CELD is an approved Affordability Grant recipient. This means eligible families benefit from a reduction of up to $100 per month, per enrolled child — applied directly to your monthly fee. No separate application required on your end.
